FAQ / How to obtain the Form 6166?


There are two ways: (1) Easy - fill out the application on the right hand side of our website, we will draft the documents for you and apply on your behalf. In due time, you will receive the document. All you will need to do is submit application, print the authorization forms, sign, scan and email. (2) DIY - depending on the filings and years you may need to prepare IRS Forms 8802, 8821 and the statements under the penalties of perjury. The Form 8821 may be needed for multiple entities and individuals. It is best to read the instructions provided by the IRS before attempting to proceed.
