NEWS / Disney no longer accepting photocopies of birth certificates for cruises


Disney Cruise Lines are longer accepting photocopies of birth certificates as proof of US citizenship. Guests will now be required to present their original birth certificates or official certified copies of the documents.

The requirement will apply only to those who do not present their passport upon boarding. Individuals aged 16 and older will also need to present a photo ID with the name matching the name in their birth certificate (or providing a name change document).

Disney cruises encompass Alaska, the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Bermuda, Canada, Hawaii, Panama, Australia, New Caledonia, and Europe.
