FAQ / What is Apostille?


US Department of State Apostille is issued by the federal government, namely the United States Department of State, or US DOS. US Department of State Apostille is issued only for the federal level documents which include, but are not limited to: IRS Residency Certificates, FDA Certificates and FBI Criminal Background Checks. US Department of State Apostille can take several weeks to obtain if applying by mail and between 7 and 10 business days if using a walk-in service.
