ABC / Apostille California


In California the Apostille may be obtained at two different locations. From the office in Sacramento or Los Angeles. Certain requirements must be met to ensure acceptance. Vital records, such as birth certificate, marriage certificate and death records need to be signed by the acting registrar, otherwise additional steps will be required before the document is eligible for apostille.
