NEWS / Apostille and Authentication UPDATE (MAR 18)

Apostille and authentication services are still being provided. We recommend that if you need documents apostilled, not to wait as the situation changes daily. At this moment there are no walk-in services for NY Secretary of State office. All apostille and certificate of authentication requests are rerouted through Albany. We anticipate delays in processing of up to 10-15 business days at this point. New Jersey apostille offices remain open as of today, so is Connecticut. US Department of State is open. Both Authentication and Passport offices are processing the requests. There are some closures of county offices. Several consulates have halted processing, while others restricting walk-in requests.
