NEWS / Northern Arizona Man Sentenced to 235 Months in Prison for Abusive Sexual Contact with a Minor


PHOENIX—Casey Foster, 41, of Carrizo, Ariz, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Stephen M. McMamee to 235 months in prison followed by lifetime supervised release. Foster, a member of the White Mountain Apache Indian Tribe, pleaded guilty on January 12, 2011 to Abusive Sexual Contact with a Minor.

Foster sexually abused a minor child under the age of 12 over a three-year time period. This occurred between 2003 and 2007. He also sexually abused the victim’s 13-year-old friend on one occasion.

The investigation in this case was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The prosecution was handled by Dimitra H. Sampson, Assistant U.S. Attorney, District of Arizona, Phoenix.
