NEWS / Khiton opened its representative office in Moscow


Khiton, one of the largest manufacturers of household detergents also issuing low massmarket cosmetics, opened its representative tradecenter for Moscow and Moscow region. Mrs Arina Sudakova, marketing director of Khiton, comments: ???We expect to increase efficiency of cooperation with our clients in the Moscow region. Now we are able to speed up supplies and make our offer more flexible. Khiton center is also responsible for supporting campaigns taking into consideration Moscow consumer peculiarities.???

5-6% of the Khiton sales fall to the Moscow region. The company distributes Russia-wide and in CIS countries, though Moscow is regarded as one of the most perspective regions. Khiton??™s development strategy implies divarication of regional representative chain. Company??™s offices are opened in Russia (Saint Petersburg, Krasnodarsky krai, Khabarovsk, Samara, Perm) and Kazakhstan. The launch of new offices in Ukraine (Kharkov) and Uzbekistan is under negotiation.

Khiton is incorporated in Holding Company Ak Bars group. By results of 2005 the group??™s turnover was over $14.5mln. The company owns trademarks Toilex (air freshener), KRA (repellent) and Canor (household detergent).
