The death certificate of Julian Sands, the British actor who went missing while hiking in California in January, has been released. The certificate lists the cause of death as "undetermined." Sands, 65, was last seen on January 13, 2023, on Mount Baldy, a mountain in the San Gabriel Mountains outside of Los Angeles. His body was found by hikers in late June. The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department said that no other factors in Sands' death were found during the coroner's investigation. A spokesperson for the department said that an "undetermined" cause of death is "common when dealing with cases of this type." Sands' death certificate also lists his date of death as January 13, 2023, the date he was last seen. Sands' death is a loss to the acting community.
