NEWS / Filmmaker Rob Reiner and photographer spouse Michele died of “multiple sharp force injuries” – death certificates

Renowned American filmmaker Rob Reiner and his spouse Michele Singer Reiner, a famous photographer and political activist, died of “multiple sharp force injuries,” according to the couple’s death certificates. Furthermore, the certificates specify that the injuries occurred “with knife, by another,” meaning that another person stabbed the couple. The pair was found dead at their home in Los Angeles, California, on December 14.

The couple’s death certificates were obtained from the Los Angeles County Public Health Department by TMZ. The vital records also specified that the pair was cremated on December 19, with their final resting place being the home of their son Jake Reiner.

According to TMZ, the couple’s bodies were found by their daughter Romy Reiner, who stated that her brother Nick Reiner, another child of the pair, is “dangerous” and should be considered a suspect, as he had been living with his parents at the time of their death. Nick Reiner, who has had a history of substance abuse issues, has since been charged with his parents’ murder and is expected to enter an insanity plea.
