NEWS / 24-year old Florida man killed in crash en route to sign birth certificate

24-year-old Josiah Hoyt was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Orlando, Florida, on March 29 as he was driving to sign the birth certificate of his son. The vehicle involved in the fatal crash was later located by the police, but the individual responsible for the tragedy is still at large, according to detectives. "He just wanted to experience life," Hoyt's mother Giannetta was quoted by Click Orlando as saying, "He didn’t get a chance to really." Originally from Utica, New York, Hoyt had been prompted to move to Florida to help raise his child. He was able to see his child, who had been born a month and a half prematurely.
