FAQ / What are the New Dollar Designs?

The United States government continues issuing currency with enhanced designs and security features. New $20 and $50 bills were introduced in 2003 and 2004, respectively. A new $10 bill entered circulation on March 2, 2006, followed by a new $5 bill on March 13, 2008. A redesigned $100 bill will be released in the future. At this time, the government has no plans to redesign the $1 and $2 bills. This redesigned currency is safer, smarter and more secure.
